I've also spoken with my uncle Desmond (momma Gwen's brother).
I'm finding out more and more about my biological family as the days pass. God is a wonderful, mighty, awesome God! I thank Him for the opportunity to learn who I am. I appreciate my past, present and the things God will reveal to me in the future.
Thank you momma Gwen for giving me life, thank you daddy and momma Holmes for taking a chance by adopting a baby girl instead of a boy. Oh, and thanks for not throwing me in the Trinity River like you always threatened to do (smile). Thank you Smith family for embracing me with your love. Thank you daddy R.D. Smith for your love, and the "Hugs, Kisses and flowers"! I am not disappointed at all!
